The Pilates Reformer is an amazingly elegant apparatus, made up of adjustable leather straps, gears, springs, and a sliding carriage system. By placing your body in new relationships with gravity you challenge your self in fascinating ways. Students work with or against spring resistance, adding a whole new level of strength and endurance training to Pilates. The Reformer provides finely tuned exercise resistance that allows a person to work precisely to develop good alignment, core strength and flexibility. In this class, students work in unison through a sequence of appropriately leveled Reformer choreography, while the certified instructor guides each student through safe and proper form. We limit Reformer Classes to three students to ensure a safe and effective workout.
