Pilates is like food, I look forward to it, I know it will nourish me, and I know I'm getting the best quality instruction and personal attention at F+B. Finding my Pilates stance throughout the day, whatever I'm doing, is like a tiny meditation and physical re-set.
After a few months of sporadic weekly classes and privates, I committed to the Whole New Body Challenge and completed 30 sessions in 10 weeks. Despite being a lifelong dancer, I've always had a "dead zone" in my lower back, that refuses to "curl," unmoved by years of private gyrotonic sessions. Only through the consistency of the Whole New Body Challenge have I begun to increase mobility in my lower back. I've noticed a difference in how I hold my bags as I walk to the train, how I stand, how I type, how I sit at a computer when working with patients. I feel taller!

"The Flesh + Bone "Whole New Body Challenge" was the best thing I have ever done to improve my own health. I came to Flesh + Bone for help with chronic neck and shoulder pain. I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, personal training, yoga, and also tried ignoring the pain. Nothing came close to the improvement Pilates gave me.
